MER Clinic: History of Railroading in Hampton Roads

Clinic will cover the changes of the railroads in this area from the early years to service today by major Class I lines and local smaller railroads. Dick will review the history of the "Fallen Flags" that serviced Hampton Roads. He will also cover the expansion of the railroads to handle the major coal and intermodal ports of the Tidewater market. Also discussed will be the growth of passenger service locally and abroad.
